What We Did In November

We had a very eventful November.  Our Art class had its final class for the fall semester:

However, Mommy wanted to make sure we were still able to do a community service project.  So Evie and I spent a lot of time sorting through bottles and cans and tearing off the poptabs to give to the Ronald McDonald House in Ann Arbor.

One of the things we most enjoy about Homeschooling is that on many days we are very relaxed and able to spend time with those we love.

November ended with a week of vacation and some fun times with each other.

We are looking forward to December and the adventures it will bring!

Our Very Fun October

Evie and I have continued to enjoy homeschooling, especially when we get to bake or go on field trips.  Here are some of the fun things we did.

Mommy signed me up for two cake decorating classes at JoAnn Fabrics.  However, they were rescheduled so many times, that Mommy decided to cancel and have us do our own decorating at home.

Evie and I were part of a Homeschool Art Show.  We both entered three pieces of art, and each received an award.  Mine was for Best Underwater Scenery and Evie's was for Most Playful Picture.

We also made a few crafts at the Art Show.  It was really a fun time!

Our Grammy has been teaching us Home Ec, and one day in October we decorated Halloween cookies.

Here are two of our favorites!

This is the 9th year our family has gone to Hallowe'en at Greenfield Village.  It rained ALL day, but thankfully cleared up for a beautiful night of spooky fun!

Unfortunately it rained like cats and dogs on Halloween itself.  However, we still forged our way through the wet weather.  We weren't upset with the rain, because we had already trick-or-treated at Greenfield Village and a really cool Trunk-or-Treat.  We love carving our pumpkins with Daddy.  This year I made a perfect pumpkin face and Evie had a bow on hers!
