Mommy realized she neglected to upload pictures of us at our FIRST Tigers Game back on May 8th, 2014.  We went to the game with Grammy and Papa Tom, Emma, Aunt Kelly, and Aunt Kelly's friend, Eric.

June is Busting Out All Over!

This month we continued to learn, but it is what Mommy calls, "summer homeschool."  Reading and Geography are the two subjects we mostly focus on, and it really has become exciting to see where we travel next.  We are learning about the Fifty Nifty United States, and are using curriculum from Highlights.  We have a reading challenge as well.  For 30 days we are reading for minutes - Evie 600 and me 900.  Anthony is participating too, and he has 600 minutes like Evie.

We also have a dove family that had babies at the end of May and they left their nest in the first week of June.  However, they are back again, and hopefully we can enjoy watching the second group of babies mature.

Spring and End of the School Year

We have had a VERY busy school year, and we have leaned SO much.  Here are pictures from the last two months of our life.

Mommy got Evie this unicorn hoodie as an early Birthday gift!

Evie needed a new helmet this year.

Pictures From January, February & March

We have been very busy in our household this calendar year.  We definitely have a lot to share with everyone.

JANUARY
We had a lot of snow this winter in Michigan.  One day we were able to make a HUGE snowman.  The top two balls were so huge, Daddy had to build a ramp to put them together.

FEBRUARY
We spent time with science projects - and made a great volcano with our friend, Anthony.

February 22nd, also marked Maggie's 1st Birthday.  We had such a fun time celebrating!

MARCH
March started with a science fair.  Evie did Vibrations and I did How Music Affects Plants.  It was a great Saturday afternoon.  One of the students did an experiment with marshmallows, and well, that was our favorite as you can see.

My expander came out and was replaced with a clear retainer.  I was thrilled to be able to eat gum, nuts, and other "bad" food again.

Within two days, we saw two great shows: Dinosaur Zoo at the Fisher Theater and Brundibar (and opera) t the Michigan Opera Theater.

The next big activity was my 9th Birthday party.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE dragons, so Mommy helped make a really fantastic party around the dragon theme.
